Freedom Enterprise was reformed in 2019. Spanning more than 20 years of musical performances up and down the east coast, they have provided delight and jubilation to thousands of listeners. Micheal Bohorquez
Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Lyricist
Michael Bohorquez is a Singer Songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland that has been writing music and performing live since the late 90’s. Michael started playing gigs out at bars well before he was allowed to. Freedom Enterprise, Hazlow, and the Funk Family Tree are all Michael’s brain children. Over the years, Michael has shared the stage with tons of local acts and several national acts.
Moziah Saleem
Percussion, Drums
Michael “Moziah” Saleem is an American drummer and percussionist born in Baltimore County, Maryland. He has drummed and toured with a variety of artists in multiple genres including The Oak Ridge Boys, Rufus Thomas, DeGarmo & Key, Victor Wooten, Richard “Groove” Holmes, Patti Austin, Solomon Burke, and Leon Russell. Moziah has received a Grammy award for his participation with Mervyn Warren’s Handel’s Messiah Project, “A Soulful Celebration Album.” He currently teaches drums at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Patrick Rainey
Saxophone, Vocals
Patrick Rainey has been playing the Sax since the 4th grade. Well traveled, he has visited many different countries and all 50 states playing his horn. He has recently become a father of 2 beautiful children. Patrick is a member of The Bridge, Hazlow, and the Funk Family Tree. Patrick also sits in with various local and national acts that play in Baltimore, such as The Psycho Killers, Better Off Dead, The Dancing Bears, and many more.
Colin Rappa
Bass
Colin Rappa is a sonic death robot from the planet Zardoz sent to do battle with the human race, however upon arrival decided it liked playing the bass and lazing about in the sun much more than intergalactic conquest.
Colin has played with The Dirty Grass Players, Segway, Julia Janx, Big Thicket, Hazlow, and Various other acoustic and electric artists around Baltimore.
Tony Kelly
Keyboards, Vocals
Tony Kelly was born with an instrument in his hand. Creating music from a young age on various platforms and genres, Tony is a multi-instrumentalist who works with many local artists in the area. In addition to being a performer, he is also a producer, engineer, mixer and owner of Titanic Bluebird Recording Studio.
Tony has played with, Cara Kelly, Indoor Kites, Ghost Mode, The Funk Family Tree and many other artists in the Baltimore area.
Sameer Khan
Drums
Sameer was born a drummer, learning to play hand drums with his Nani even before he could walk. A member of Freedom Enterprise since it’s inception, Sameer has played behind the kit and standup percussion throughout the years. A father of six and a Baltimore native, Sameer can be found creating infectious grooves all over town, with Freedom, The Funk Family Tree, and various other artists.
